Winter Outing 2022!

We are less than three weeks away from the winter outing. This year we will go to Flagstaff on Friday, January 28 and stay for free in the barracks at Camp Navajo. There are bathrooms and kitchen facilities so we will do some planning for meals.

Scouts in the PV School District have a half day so it might lead to a portion of the troop traveling to Flagstaff early and enjoy an activity. (TBD)

Saturday is for skiing, snowboarding or sledding. Snowbowl is already getting booked so the price continues to rise. (It is now $95 per person.) I hope Scouts and their parents will take the opportunity to hit the slopes. For those who have never skied, I strongly recommend a lesson in the morning and then let's get together at lunchtime. https://www.snowbowl.ski/. Gear including a helmet can be rented in Phoenix, Flagstaff or Snowbowl. Snowbowl makes it pretty easy with the online purchasing.
