About the Event
Troop 109 Family Campout at Sky Y!
When: May 20 6pm departure from NSUMC to 10am on May 22.
Where: Sky Y Camp outside of Prescott, Arizona
What: The family campout is open to Scouts, siblings and parents. No pets please. Each family will have their own cabin for the weekend. All you need to bring is sleeping bags and appropriate clothing.
Please eat dinner Friday before departure. The Troop 109 kitchen will be open for Saturday breakfast and dinner; Sunday continental breakfast.
Please note the there is a $10 per person food charge for Adults and siblings who are coming. Registered scouts are not charged the $10 fee. We will collect the money at the camp out.
This outing will feature team building activities, parent information meeting and some long-term Troop planning. There are many activities at the camp including ropes courses, archery ranges and the simple beauty of the mountains. We will hold a campfire program after dinner Saturday night and we expect some amazing skits and stories! Each Scout should bring a class A and B uniform. We will update this invitation as we finalize plans for this great event.
