About the Event
We will be camping in the Coconino National forest between Flagstaff and Williams and exploring the Lava River Cave
What is our goal?
We will be hiking the Lava River Cave in its entirety, approximately 5 miles in total. During our time camping and hiking, we will also be working on requirements needed for the road for first class. Please review your Scouts BSA Handbook for any requirements that have outdoor items and [b]Be Prepared[/b] to sign these off at camp.
When is the outing?
July 22nd, 6:00 PM - July 24th, 11:00 AM
We will meet at the Church parking lot at 6:00pm. Leave about 6:30pm. We will be arriving at the campsite in the dark (which is fun and adds to the adventure). We will return on Sunday (usually late morning). Scouts will call to have parents meet them at the church once we’re back in cell phone…
