Troop 109 B Event: Bike Outing - McDowell Mountain Park
Where: 16300 McDowell Mountain Park Dr, Fort McDowell, AZ 85264
DEPARTURE LOCATION North Scottsdale United Methodist Church 11735 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254
Meet at 6:00 PM for 6:30 PM departure Depart the church at 6:30pm Friday and eat dinner before departure.
- Flag ceremony
- Patrols cook Saturday breakfast
- Bike inspections and safety discussion
- 5-15 mile out and back depending on ability and or hiking light to medium levels for non bikers.
- Bring a sack lunch
- Last year we had down time for advancement.
- Transport bikes to the skills area and sport loops at the entrance of the park – ride for two hours
- Patrols cook dinner
- Flags
- Troop kitchen for adults
- Campfire program
