About the Event

It's August and you guys know what that means, SURVIVAL OUTING!! Each year we try to keep things interesting and this year is no different.

First, second, and third year scouts will be creating a shelter in the forest and spending the night in their shelter.  (first years have the option to sleep in a tent but it is highly recommended they try their shelter) Troop will be providing a special meal to cook at your shelter.

Fourth year and older scouts will be “Shoebox” camping.  Everything they take with them must fit into a shoebox they bring, including food.

Scouts will be learning survival skills while at camp. All Patrols that survive and make it back to camp will be rewarded with a delicious breakfast cooked for them by the Troop 109 leaders.
