DEPARTURE

We will meet at the church parking lot at 6:00PM and leave promptly at 6:30PM. We will return Sunday around noon. Scouts will call to have parents to meet them at the church once we’re back in cell phone range.

SEATS

We will need enough seats for all the Scouts. This is a rough road so no small cars should attempt it!

GAS MONEY

All passengers not riding with their own parents need to have $10 gas money. We will check money at the parking lot. Passengers are to hand the gas money to their drivers before we leave the parking lot.

SCOUT MEALS

All scouts are to cook and eat as a group for Saturday morning breakfast, Saturday dinner (competition) and Sunday breakfast.

All scouts need to pack their own sack lunch for Saturday. All other meals will be with their patrols.

ADULT MEALS

Here’s the good news. Troop chefs will be cooking up a storm for us this weekend. Adults need to pack a sack lunch for Saturday, but the rest of the meals (breakfast, dinner, breakfast) will be provided. Please bring $15 to cover these three meals.

GEAR

Pack for a normal car camping outing. There is a swim hole down the creek. Scouts may want to bring swim trunks and water shoes if they have the courage to brave the chilly water. A towel also.

All scouts need to pack the standard day pack with 2 Nalgenes, First Aid kit and a sack lunch for Saturday.
