When: Saturday, April 17 .  Meet at the church at 7:30AM.  Depart at 8:00AM.  Back on Sunday morning.

What: This is a new location for Troop 109! Madera Ranch sits on top of the mountains outside Superior. There are sports facilities in addition to the great outdoors. On the way to the ranch we will hike Legends of Superior Trail (LOST): Superior to Claypool Tunnel. At the ranch, we will work on cooking skills that might be a little rusty since the pandemic began. Each patrol will cook Saturday evening and we will have a campfire. We will also have Sunday breakfast and a church service before departing for home.

This is a great over-night trip for all age groups.

What to bring:

Car camping gear

Tent

Sleeping bag

Air mattress

Appropriate clothing for chilly night time temps

Rain gear just in case

First Aid kit

Sack lunch for Saturday

$10 for gas if you are not riding with your parent

CARPOOLING

If you carpool, everyone in the car must wear a mask.

Carpooling is approved as long as you checked individually with Registered Troop Adults on a car pool plan and any expected Covid practices for that specific carpool.  In the invite please document who you will be carpooling with and please ensure that you and/or Scout are wearing a mask throughout the trip.

NOTES - In the invite please document the following:

1) How many seat-belts you have available to give a Scout / Parent a Ride if you are consenting to carpool.

2) If you plan to depart ahead of the group.

3) If you are coming up just the day on Saturday.
