Humphreys Peak 2018

For May's outing, the troop made a trip up to cooler weather in Flagstaff where we hiked up Humphreys Peak. Starting at the Snowbowl Ski parking lot, the trail took us to 11,250 ft up the mountain. Our destination was a scattered debris field of a WWII-era B-24 crash. The Scouts learned a bit of Arizona history and took in some amazing views. An appropriate tribute just before Memorial Day weekend.
