Just got back from our backpacker in the Superstitions. Ended up being all younger Scouts (with one exception). The trail was moderate to difficult because of the elevation change and a lot of boulders. On the way we decided to stop short of our planned destination. First, because it was a long way down the last half mile and we didn’t want to have to climb all the way back up the next morning. Second, because the view from where we stopped was spectacular! (photos don't do it justice) Everyone was in good spirits on the way back on the second day mostly because we weren’t being beaten down by the sun.
